A fairy-tale if we ever saw one, the love story of Patti and Danny is one that is an epic romance that spans years of friendship, love and familial unity. Referred to us by a former bride, we were ecstatic to help Patti create a simple and elegant look to their letterpressed suite, building on the black and white color scheme with a vintage Hollywood look. Audrey Hepburn, eat your heart out!

The suite was wrapped with a belly band addressed to each guest, and then slipped into a thick luxe envelope custom lined with a “celebrate our love story” imagery to pull the look together. More photos to come, but this was one we couldn’t wait to show!

For over ten years, these two have carried their love across the nation – Elena lived in San Francisco and Stephane in Florida – until a proposal brought them to the same town. Now getting married in May at The Moorings Club in Vero, they wanted to incorporate and mesh their worlds together for their wedding – Elena, bringing the Franciscan theme and Stephane calling on his native France for a little inspiration. The suite we designed brought their monochromatic gravel, black color scheme together, with a pop of cobalt blue to accent. Keeping in mind the looks of 1940s San Fran and Paris, we combined retro theming and modern looks and imagery of both cities to give a unique and personal touch.

Following the creation of a save the date postcard, we created a pocket folder invitation that holds the RSVP postcard and reception card, addressed on the exterior in silver to slip into the gravel outer envelope – addressed in theme by our studio. Their worn edged logo will be projected on the floor and was designed to mimick a 1940s stamp, not unlike a passport mark.

One of my our very first commissions came from the introduction made by a talented event planning friend, Meredith. We were honored when she suggested to her newly engaged sister that she consult our studio to create a festive and unique invitation for their March wedding in Costa Rica. Carrie is a dream of a bride and our ideas neatly meshed with her vision of a colorful and striking suite that would tie in a traditional feel.

The letterpressed invitation and RSVP were printed on a cotton stock in a bright orange, and debossed with the same palm images from the luxe shimmer bronze pocket. Tucked inside the pocket was self-mailing RSVP and information card for guests to keep abreast of activities. We designed a custom mark that evoked a travel stamp and carried through the suite, including the addressing on the exterior narrow envelope.

We had the pleasure of meeting Alyssa’s mom, Heather, at our VIP Bridal Event, hosted by Lara’s Theme. Heather told us about Alyssa and Josh’s beautiful love story, and we couldn’t wait to be a part of the planning for their celebration at Costa d’Este Resort in Vero Beach. After a consultation, we devised a simple and modern twist on shabby chic theme that incorporated the subtle green of her wedding flowers, hydrangeas. Sliding the invitation into an enclosure that highlights her custom monogram, we matched the color to an accent ribbon complete with twine to carry the theme through. The completed suite was tucked into a hydrangea green envelope, addressed and labeled to match the shabby chic affair. A complementary thank you card was also completed.

Courtney and Jason decided to go back to the origin of their first meeting and marry in shadow of the gorgeous oaks and southern charm of Charleston, South Carolina. They wanted their suite to be simple and elegant, reflecting the old world aura of their wedding city. Through gold accents and filigree that evoked wrought iron fences and antebellum chicness, we created a suite that married tradition with uniqeness. A beautiful suite for a beautiful couple!

For Tamrin and Jason’s ethereal Hawaiian wedding, we wanted to evoke the beauty and simplicity of the natural elements they would be surrounded by for the nuptials. Flowing waters, sandy beaches, lush greenery of palms and the orchids of the isle – all were items we wanted to incorporate into a unique and sweet suite. To accomplish this, we took to a fun new medium, printing on a warm wood and infusing a pop of color with a green and mauve palette. The RSVP cards were printed similarly, both with a hand-drawn orchid to as an elegant reminder of their location. The suite is tucked into deckle-edged natural envelopes for a perfect cap on this invitation!

Once RSVPs had been returned, the family commissioned a box of event goodies to be mailed to guests – a tiered event schedule in deckle edged stock was printed and tied with raffia and tucked into the box filled with sand and matching shells in pink and green. Wrapped on a bed of palm fronds, the schedule was also joined by custom luggage tags addressed to each guest for the journey to Hawaii. Also included was a basket-weave themed rehearsal dinner invitation, all wrapped into the box with adhesive labele, themed to match.
