For Tamrin and Jason’s ethereal Hawaiian wedding, we wanted to evoke the beauty and simplicity of the natural elements they would be surrounded by for the nuptials. Flowing waters, sandy beaches, lush greenery of palms and the orchids of the isle – all were items we wanted to incorporate into a unique and sweet suite. To accomplish this, we took to a fun new medium, printing on a warm wood and infusing a pop of color with a green and mauve palette. The RSVP cards were printed similarly, both with a hand-drawn orchid to as an elegant reminder of their location. The suite is tucked into deckle-edged natural envelopes for a perfect cap on this invitation!
Once RSVPs had been returned, the family commissioned a box of event goodies to be mailed to guests – a tiered event schedule in deckle edged stock was printed and tied with raffia and tucked into the box filled with sand and matching shells in pink and green. Wrapped on a bed of palm fronds, the schedule was also joined by custom luggage tags addressed to each guest for the journey to Hawaii. Also included was a basket-weave themed rehearsal dinner invitation, all wrapped into the box with adhesive labele, themed to match.
